MOVEMENT
LEADERS
COLLECTIVE

As a collective of pioneers, it is of the upmost importance for us to stay connected to one another, to actively collaborate together and to do our best in building unity as we forge ahead in this new adventure the Lord has called us to.
We can't do it alone - we're not meant to do it alone.
The path we are on is not an easy one. In fact, it's decidedly harder... but it is the right one. Because HE is worthy of more.
What we are doing now IS WORTH IT, and will send ripples forward into future generations of the church for many years to come - of that, we are convinced of.

"Therefore, family, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way He has opened for us... Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our gatherings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near." ~Hebrews 10:19-25

WHAT IS THE MOVEMENT LEADERS COLLECTIVE?

The Movement Leaders Collective is a round-table, collaborative learning space where like-minded leaders of new missional adventures, missional teams, Microchurches and new expressions of small and multiplying church can gather on a monthly basis to be equipped, encouraged, and develop a culture of healthy accountability.

It is a mutual platform of belonging and connection for the pioneers the Lord has called forward, in this kairos moment in history, to forge a new path ahead for the rest of the body of Christ to follow behind us.

The Gathering’s Movement Leaders Collective is as part of and in collaboration with movementleaderscollective.com which is a global initiative launched by Alan Hirsh & Rich Robinson to connect like-minded movemental practitioners around the globe to journey together, be resourced, be connected and learn from one another. (FInd out more HERE).

WHO IS IT FOR?

It is for leaders of missional teams or Microchurches who have a fiery hunger for Jesus, a heart to see their work and kingdom impact exponentially multiplied, and who have a desire to see more kingdom impact than ever before.

It is for people who are willing to give it all to see the world transformed, person-by-person, as people encounter and surrender their lives to Jesus.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT

You can expect to see people from within The Gathering Network, Glasgow, as well as some friends from around the globe who have been connecting with us... we hope that, in the future, more and more new people will join us too. If that is you, we would love to connect with you!

The call will be facilitated by me, Adam, but it will very much be a collaborative space for us to learn from one another. There will be a different focus for us to talk around during each call, as well as intentional space given for some equipping and training (both from members of the group, and people from outside who can resource us too).

We will cover topics, principles and practices from:
- The ancient Celtic rhythms of Cave (reliance on God), Table (building spiritual family), and Road (mission & calling);
- The 5 Components of Gospel Movements (Activating Prayer, Engaging Culture, Making Disciples, Forming Leaders, Multiplying Churches),
- The 15 Key Insights for Modern and Urban Disciple Making Movements, as noted by twofoureight.org (Including: Affinity Groups, Begin with the Broken, Invest in High-Commitment Discipling Relationships...),
- Identifying, empowering and releasing fringe believers in traditional forms of church to join us out on mission,
- Walking in the fulness of our identity and spiritual authority, and for the signs and wonders of God's manifest power to be a regular expectation in our work.

WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE?

As the initial iteration, there are 2 elements that will be a part of this collective (details can be found through the link below):
- A monthly Zoom call for 90 minutes.
- A bi-annual in-person weekend gathering (Spring - Autumn).
